General registration process description

Registration for the Littlebit app is designed to be simple, straightforward, and secure. The entire process takes only a few minutes, and the app will guide you through it step by step.

The typical registration process is as follows:

1. Create an account. Enter your email address, create a secure password, and confirm your agreement to the terms of use.

2. Verify your email. A verification code will be sent to the email address you provided, which you will enter into the app.

3. Enter a referral code. If the app was recommended to you by friends, enter the referral code you received. This step is optional and can be skipped if you don't have a referral. If you don't fill it in here, you won't be able to add it later.

4. Enter and verify your phone number. You will receive an SMS with a confirmation code on your phone.

5. Identity verification (KYC). Upload two valid forms of ID and perform a short facial verification via the camera. This step is required by law.

6. Connecting a payment card. This serves as a source of funds for purchasing Bitcoin. Payments are made exclusively through a certified and highly secure payment service provider.

7. Connecting a bank account. This allows the app to track your card transactions so that it can automatically calculate your savings. You give your consent to connect for 90 days.

8. Savings settings. You choose the percentage of each card payment that will be automatically set aside.

Once you have completed the registration, you can start saving in Bitcoin, and we will check as soon as possible that your identity verification (KYC) has been completed successfully. If we find any discrepancies, we will contact you.

Once your savings exceed the milestone of CZK 350, the app will prompt you to complete an AML questionnaire, which is also required by law (Anti-Money Laundering Act). In it, you will provide us with some information, based on which we will verify that your funds do not originate from criminal activity or similar sources.

This verification usually takes place within one business day. If the AML check is successful, the purchase of Bitcoin with a card will take place immediately. If something more complicated arises, we will contact you.

This completes the registration process, and you can use the app to its full extent for 90 days after connecting your bank account. After 90 days, the app will ask you to extend your consent to view your account.
