The bank account in the Littlebit app is used exclusively to read information about your card payments. We use this data to calculate the amount to be automatically added to Littlebit and subsequently invested in Bitcoin. Thanks to the connection to your account, the app can recognize how much and where you paid with your card and, based on the set percentage, calculate how much of each payment to add to your savings.
The account is connected via an interface approved under the European PSD2 regulation, which ensures a secure connection between the bank and the app.
Littlebit never has access to your balances, transfers, or other sensitive data.
It cannot send payments or manipulate your finances.
It only obtains information about card payments when the bank posts them.
You always grant consent to connect your account for 90 days, after which the app will automatically prompt you to renew it. This step ensures that you have control over all the information Littlebit works with.
Thanks to the connected account, Littlebit can function exactly as it should—automatically, securely, and without the need to manually enter payments.
