The payment card in the Littlebit app serves exclusively as a source of funds for purchasing Bitcoin.
The card is only used when savings are made – i.e. when the saved amount exceeds the milestone (CZK 350) and the automatic purchase of Bitcoin is triggered. At that point, the corresponding amount is deducted from your payment card.
Littlebit never deducts money on an ongoing basis or tracks where and how much you spend on your card (we only obtain information about your card payments through your linked bank account, solely for the purpose of calculating the amount to be set aside).
Your card is stored and all payments are made through a certified payment service provider in accordance with Czech and European regulations. Everything is highly secure. Your card details are not stored in the Littlebit app, only in the payment gateway of the provider. This provider ensures that Littlebit does not make unauthorized payments or charge excessive amounts.
