In addition to the age restriction (18+), there are a few other conditions you need to meet to use Littlebit. Some are based on regulations, while others stem from the fact that the app is currently available only in the Czech Republic, with plans to expand to other countries gradually.
The most important limitations:
- Using a VPN
- The Littlebit app does not work with a VPN turned on.
- If you are using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), the app may not be able to verify your location or establish a secure connection with your bank. Both are required for the app to function properly.
- You must disable your VPN before using the app. Once your VPN is turned off, the app should work correctly.
- Place of residence
- The app is currently designed for users residing in the Czech Republic. This must be proven either by documents issued in the Czech Republic (identity card, driver's license, or passport) or by a permanent residence permit in the Czech Republic for foreign nationals.
- If you are a Slovak citizen living in the Czech Republic but do not have documents issued in the Czech Republic, you can register with your Slovak documents, provided that you use a bank account held with one of the banks listed here.
- Therefore, during registration, we verify your address in addition to the validity of your documents. Just like age verification, this is not a formality but a necessary step to ensure secure operations and to make sure that setting money aside on autopilot is only used by those legally entitled to do so.
- If you live outside the supported area, you cannot use the app at this time. But as soon as we expand availability to other countries, we will make sure you hear about it!
