Can I pause/stop my savings and how?

Yes, you can pause or completely terminate your savings at any time directly in the app. Littlebit gives you full control over when and how you want to save.

There are two ways to pause your savings:

  1. In the Overview tab

    • In the gray “Savings amount” field, click the switch to the left.

    • The app will ask if you really want to stop saving.

    • Press “Stop saving” and you’re done.

  2. In the Savings tab

    • At the bottom of the screen, click the switch to the left.

    • The app will ask if you are sure you want to stop saving.

    • Press “Stop saving” and you’re done.

After pausing, saving will stop immediately and the app will stop loading new payments and adding their percentages to your virtual savings. All amounts accumulated so far will remain stored and will be ready for future continuation.

There are two ways to resume saving:

  1. In the Overview tab

    • In the gray “Savings amount” field, slide the switch to the right.

  2. In the Savings tab

    • At the bottom of the screen, slide the black arrow in the green box to the right.

That’s it – your savings will continue automatically from that moment on.

Pausing your savings will terminate them, but this can always be reversed. If you decide to start again, simply log into the app and restart your savings.

The app will continue to have access to your bank account via PSD2 until the 90-day approval expires, but it will ignore and delete all transactions during the pause.

Similarly, it will still have access to your card through the payment gateway provider, but no payments will be made until you restart savings and exceed the CZK 350 milestone.

Alternatively, after ending your savings, you can remove your payment card and bank account in Settings → My Cards or Settings → Bank Accounts. If you later decide to resume saving, you will need to add them again.

If you decide to completely stop using the Littlebit app, this means deleting your account. That requires several steps, such as withdrawing any Bitcoin you have already saved. If you wish to delete your account, you can find the procedure here.
