If you have paid by card but the payment has not yet appeared in the Littlebit app, there is no need to worry.
The app only displays payments after they have been processed by your bank, not immediately after payment. Once the bank has processed the payment, it will automatically appear in the Littlebit app (in exceptional cases, there may be a short delay of a few hours between processing and display in the app).
Processing depends on the speed of your bank and the merchant:
usually 1–3 days after payment
in some cases up to 5 business days after the purchase
in exceptional cases even longer (e.g., for accommodation services, where the payment is blocked in your account but only posted after the stay has started or finished)
Until then, the app is not yet aware of the transaction and cannot include it in the savings calculation, because banks do not include the payment date in the information that is sent to the app via your account connection through PSD2.
If the payment does not appear even after the expected date, please check the following:
whether the payment has already been posted in your online banking
whether the payment was made from the account you have connected to the Littlebit app
whether your 90-day access to the account has expired or been terminated and needs to be renewed
whether the transaction was actually made by card and not by bank transfer
whether you have a debit card linked to your account, not a credit card
If the payment does not appear even after it has been posted in your online banking (taking into account a possible delay of several hours), please contact us here and provide the following information:
the email address you use in the app
the date and approximate amount of the payment
the date the payment was posted
the merchant with whom the payment was made
and information about which card you used
We will help you verify and resolve the situation.
