Can Children Save for Themselves?

Modified on Sun, 1 Mar at 5:05 PM

Currently, it is not possible for children to use Littlebit independently. The app is intended exclusively for adult users (18+) who have completed identity verification (KYC) and meet the legal requirements for using financial services.

From a legal perspective, saving with Littlebit falls under financial services related to investment assets (Bitcoin). Such services may only be used by individuals over the age of 18 who can independently agree to the terms of use and take responsibility for their financial decisions.

Persons under the age of 18 therefore cannot create their own account in the app or hold savings in their own name.

If you would like to save for your children using your own account, you can find more information in the article Can I save for my child?
