The savings percentage determines how much of each card payment is automatically set aside. The app adds up these amounts and, once a milestone (CZK 350) is reached, automatically purchases Bitcoin.
For example, if you have set your savings to 5%, a purchase of CZK 1,000 will add CZK 50 to your savings. These amounts are gradually added up until their sum exceeds the milestone, and only then does the app make a Bitcoin purchase.
You can find the currently used savings percentage in the Overview tab and in the Savings tab, where you can also set or adjust it.
How to set or adjust the savings percentage:
Open the Littlebit app on the main screen.
Go to the Savings tab by clicking on the gray "Savings Amount" field or the "Savings" tab.
At the bottom of the screen, you will see your current savings percentage.
Use the slider to select a new percentage (e.g., 3%, 5%, 10%, 20%).
Confirm by pressing "I agree."
The change will be saved automatically and will apply to all payments posted from that moment on.
You can increase, decrease, or pause your savings at any time. The app will also show you how the change will affect you in practice – for example, how much would be set aside from your regular card payments and how your savings might grow over 5 years if Bitcoin developed at the same rate as in the past 5 years.
If you are unable to adjust the percentage or the change is not reflected in the app, please contact us here. We will be happy to help you resolve the situation.
