By disconnecting your account from the Littlebit app, you remove its access to card payment data from that account. If this was the only account connected, Bitcoin savings will not work and the app will require you to add a new account.
Instead, you can also replace the account with another one from which the app will draw information. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.
We would like to remind you that connecting, viewing, and disconnecting accounts is done through a secure interface in accordance with European PSD2 regulations, so your data always remains safe. Littlebit never has access to your balances, transfers, or other sensitive information, and it cannot deduct money from your account.
If you still wish to disconnect your bank account from the Littlebit app, you can do so easily directly in the app.
Follow these steps:
Open the Littlebit app and go to Settings → Bank Accounts.
Click to select the account you want to disconnect.
In the window that pops up at the bottom of the screen, click on Delete Account.
On the next page, confirm the action by pressing the button with the same name.
After disconnecting the account:
Littlebit will stop loading card payments from this account.
If this was the only connected account, saving will be temporarily suspended until you connect another account or restore access.
Disconnecting will not affect your savings or any Bitcoin purchases that have already been made.
If you are unable to disconnect your account or an error appears in the app, please contact us here. We will be happy to help you resolve the situation.
