Registration Process in Littlebit

Registration in the Littlebit app is designed to be simple, clear, and secure. The entire process takes only a few minutes, and the app guides you step by step. 

The standard registration flow includes:

1. Create an account. Enter your email address, create a secure password, and confirm your agreement with the terms of use. More information about email requirements can be found here, and about password requirements  here. 

2. Verify your email. A verification code will be sent to your email address. Enter the code in the app to confirm your email. If you experience any issues, more information is available here. 

3. Enter a referral code. If the app was recommended to you, you can enter the referral code you received. This step is optional and can be skipped. However, if you do not enter it during registration, it cannot be added later. More about the referral program is available here.

4. Enter and verify your phone number. You will receive an SMS with a confirmation code. Enter it in the app to verify your number. More details are available here. 

5. Identity verification (KYC). Upload two valid forms of identification and complete a short facial verification using your camera. This step is required by law. More information about identity verification is available here. 

6. Connecting a payment card. The card serves as the source of funds for Bitcoin purchases. All payments are processed through a certified and highly secure payment service provider. You can learn more about why a card is required here, and how to connect it here.

7. Connecting a bank account. This allows the app to read your card transactions in order to calculate your savings automatically. Consent for access is granted for 90 days. 8. Savings settings. Choose the percentage of each card payment that will be automatically set aside.

Once you have completed the registration, you can start saving in Bitcoin. We will review your identity verification (KYC) as soon as possible to ensure everything was submitted correctly. If we identify any inconsistencies, we will contact you.

Once your accumulated savings exceed the CZK 350 milestone for the first time, the app will prompt you to complete an AML questionnaire, which is also required by law under Anti Money Laundering regulations. This verification usually takes up to one business day. If the AML check is successful, the Bitcoin purchase will be executed immediately. If additional information is required, we will contact you.
