The savings percentage determines how much of each card payment is automatically set aside. The app accumulates these amounts and, once the CZK 350 milestone is exceeded, automatically executes a Bitcoin purchase.
For example, if your savings percentage is set to 5% and you make a purchase of CZK 1,000, CZK 50 will be added to your savings. These amounts accumulate until their total exceeds the milestone, and only then does the app purchase Bitcoin.
You can find your current savings percentage in the Overview tab and in the Savings tab, where you can also adjust it.
How to set or change your savings percentage:
Open the Littlebit app on the main screen.
Go to the Savings tab by tapping the gray "Savings Amount" field or go directly to the "Savings" tab.
At the bottom of the screen, you will see your current savings percentage.
Use the slider to select a new percentage (e.g., 3%, 5%, 10%, 20%).
Confirm by selecting "I agree."
The change is saved immediately and applies to all transactions posted from that moment onward.
You can increase, decrease, or pause your savings at any time. The app also shows you how the change may affect your savings in practice - for example, approximately how much would be set aside from your typical card payments and how your savings could develop over five years if Bitcoin’s value were to grow at a rate similar to the previous five years.
If you are unable to adjust the percentage or the change does not appear in the app, please contact us here. We’ll be happy to help you resolve the issue.
