I Paid with My Card, but I Don’t See the Payment in the App

If you paid with your card but the transaction has not yet appeared in the Littlebit app, there is no need to worry. 

The app displays payments only after they have been posted by your bank, not immediately after you make the payment. Once the bank posts the transaction, it will automatically appear in the Littlebit app. In rare cases, there may be a short delay of a few hours between posting and its display in the app. 

Posting depends on how quickly your bank and the merchant process the transaction: 

• usually 1–3 days after payment

• in some cases up to 5 business days 

• exceptionally longer (for example, with accommodation services, where the payment may be blocked on your account but posted only after the stay begins or ends) 

Until the transaction is posted, the app has no visibility of it and cannot include it in the savings calculation. This is because banks do not provide the original payment date in the data shared via PSD2 - only posted transactions are available. 

If the payment still does not appear, please check: 

• whether the transaction has already been posted in your online banking

• whether the payment was made from a account connected to the Littlebit app

• whether your 90-day consent to access the account has expired or needs to be renewed

• whether the transaction was made using a card (not a bank transfer) 

• Whether the connected account is linked to a debit card (credit card transactions may not always be shared via PSD2)
  
  

If the payment does not appear even after it has been posted in your online banking (allowing for a possible delay of several hours), please contact us here and provide: 

• the email address you use in the app

• the date and approximate amount of the payment

• the date the transaction was posted

• the merchant where the payment was made

• confirmation of the posted transaction from your online banking
