How Long Is My Consent to Access Transaction Data Valid and How Do I Extend It?

Modified on Sun, 1 Mar at 3:21 PM

You grant consent to access your bank account for 90 days. This access allows the Littlebit app to read information about your card transactions so it can automatically calculate your savings.

After 90 days, the app will notify you that your consent has expired and offer you the option to extend it. You can either open the link in the email and follow the instructions, or go directly to the app and renew the connection there.

We recommend extending your consent as soon as possible. Without active consent to access your account, the Littlebit app:

  • cannot retrieve new information about your card payments,

  • cannot calculate amounts for future savings,

  • and savings will therefore be temporarily paused until you renew your consent or connect another account.

The extension process is fully under your control and always carried out securely in accordance with PSD2 regulation.

If you would like to add another account or replace the existing one instead of extending consent, you can find the relevant instructions in this FAQ section

If you are unable to complete the extension or encounter an error, please contact us here. We’ll be happy to help you resolve the issue.
