Connecting your payment card is one of the final steps of registration in the Littlebit app. It allows the app to securely execute Bitcoin purchases once the saving milestone of CZK 350 is reached.
During registration, the app will automatically prompt you to add your card.
- The page for entering card details, as well as the card data itself, is hosted in the highly secure environment of our certified payment gateway provider and is not managed or stored by Littlebit.
Below is an explanation of the individual steps and fields:
- Card information:
- Card number
- MM/YY – card expiration date
- CVC – security code
- Billing address:
- Country where the card is issued (automatically pre-filled as Czech Republic)
- Address line 1 – street name and house/building number
- Address line 2 – optional
- Postal code
- City
On iPhone devices, only one address line may be displayed. After entering the street name and house number, the system will suggest the full address. Once you select it, the form will be filled in automatically.
- Confirm by selecting the “Set up” button.
- At the end of the setup process, a so-called zero-amount transaction will be initiated, i.e. a card payment of CZK 0. This transaction may appear in your online banking, but no money is charged. It is used solely to verify that the card is active and functional.
- After successful verification, your payment card will be connected.
Once connected, the card will only be used when a Bitcoin purchase is triggered after exceeding the CZK 350 savings milestone.
The app will then guide you to the next registration step: connecting your bank account. The bank account allows the app to calculate how much you spend with your card, so it can accumulate the savings amount and execute a Bitcoin purchase once the milestone is reached.
If you are trying to update your card (for example, replace or reconnect it during regular use of the app), you can find the correct procedure here.
If you are unable to connect your card, please contact us here and include the following information:
- The email address you use in the app
- Card type (credit/debit)
- Card issuer (Visa, Mastercard)
- Whether any error message appeared
- A screenshot or screen recording (without visible card details)
- The approximate time of the connection attempt
We’ll be happy to help you resolve the issue.
