The Littlebit app supports most commonly used bank accounts held in the Czech Republic.
A connected bank account serves exclusively only as a source of information about your card transactions. The app perform any other action with your account.
The following rules apply:
Accounts that can be used:
Standard personal current accounts held with banks listed when attempting to connect an account (i.e., most banks operating on the Czech market).
Accounts that you own (the account must held in your name; accounts where you are only an authorized user cannot be used).
At least one connected account must be linked to the payment card you use in the Littlebit app.
Accounts held in Czech koruna (CZK).
Accounts associated with a debit card.
- Since the Littlebit app obtains information about card transactions from your bank account, you must use an account on which card transactions actually occur.
- The card used for payments from that account must be a debit card in order for the transactions to appear in the app. Most banks do not share credit card transactions via PSD2 connections. Credit card payments are considered credit drawdowns rather than standard payments and therefore are not subject to the banks’ PSD2 data-sharing obligations.
- You may connect as many accounts as you wish. We recommend connecting at least the account from which you make the most debit card transactions.
Accounts that cannot be used:
Accounts held with banks that are not listed among the available banks during the account connection process (for example, Partners Banka or Trinity Bank).
Accounts that are associated only with a credit card instead of a debit card.
Accounts owned by another person or entity (such as a legal entity or a family member), where you are only an authorized user and not the account owner.
Accounts held in currencies other than CZK.
Accounts without direct access via internet banking.
Accounts held outside supported countries (currently only the Czech Republic), with the exception of certain providers that support this setup (for example, Revolut).
If you are unsure whether your account is supported or if you are experiencing difficulties connecting it, please contact us here. We will be happy to verify whether your account can be connected to the app and help you set everything up correctly.
