The Littlebit app supports most standard bank accounts held in the Czech Republic.
The connected account serves exclusively as a source of information about your card payments. The app does not gain access to your finances, nor can it execute any payments from it.
Accounts that can be connected:
Personal current accounts with most banks operating on the Czech market (you will see the list directly when connecting).
Accounts held in Czech Korunas (CZK).
Accounts of which you are the direct owner (the account must be in your name; authorized users/signatories are not supported).
At least one of the connected accounts must be linked to the card you use in the Littlebit app.
Actively used accounts with a debit card from which you regularly make payments. Littlebit needs an account where card transactions actually occur.
Why must it be a debit card? Most banks do not share credit card payments via the secure PSD2 connection. From a legal standpoint, this is not a standard payment transaction but rather drawing credit. Therefore, banks generally do not share this information via PSD2.
Tip: You can connect any number of accounts. We recommend choosing at least the one you use most frequently for debit card payments.
Accounts that cannot be connected:
Accounts with banks that are missing from the app's list (e.g., Partners Banka or Trinity Bank).
Accounts linked exclusively to a credit card.
Accounts owned by someone else (a family member, a company, etc.) where you are only an authorized user/signatory.
Accounts in foreign currencies (EUR, USD, etc.).
Accounts without direct access to online banking.
Accounts held outside the Czech Republic (with the exception of specific international services, such as Revolut).
If you are unsure whether your account is supported, or if you are having trouble connecting it, please contact us using the form below. We will be happy to verify if the account can be linked to the Littlebit app and help you set everything up correctly.
