Can you block my withdrawal?

Modified on Wed, 29 Oct at 8:22 PM

Under normal circumstances, we do not block withdrawals in the Littlebit app – users always have full control over their funds.

However, there are certain situations where withdrawals may be temporarily suspended or delayed, always for reasons specified by law and security measures.

Suspension may occur, for example, if:

  • there is reasonable suspicion that the selected wallet has been or is being used for illegal activities under AML regulations,

  • the withdrawal is requested to an exchange wallet (not permitted),

  • we suspect unauthorized manipulation of the account,

  • some mandatory information or confirmation is missing (e.g., an unverified wallet).

In all cases, these are preventive measures aimed at protecting you and your funds. Littlebit will never block your funds unless it is to keep them safe. If we do take this step, we will inform you immediately and help you complete the withdrawal as quickly as possible.

Once the check has been completed and everything is in order, the withdrawal will be released and the Bitcoin will be sent to your wallet. You will always be informed of any delays.

If you feel that the withdrawal is taking longer than usual and you have not been informed of a check, please write to us here and include:

  • the email address you use in the app,

  • the date you requested the withdrawal,

  • the withdrawal amount,

  • the wallet address where the Bitcoin should have been sent.

We will investigate the situation and let you know how to proceed.
