The Littlebit app works with two primary sources: a payment card and a bank account.
Each of them plays a different role in the app, but together they ensure that your savings with Littlebit function securely and automatically.
Payment Card
It serves as the source of funds for the auto-save. The app only uses it when the accumulated amount reaches the auto-save milestone (350 CZK). At that exact moment, an automatic auto-save is processed.
Funds are never debited continuously or at any other time.
Payments are processed through a certified and highly secure payment service provider.
Card details are not stored within the Littlebit app; they are protected inside the provider's system.
Bank Account
The bank account is used exclusively to read information about your card payments, allowing the app to automatically calculate the amount to be set aside.
We access the account through a secure interface compliant with the European PSD2 regulation.
You grant connection consent for 179 days; once this period expires, the app will prompt you to renew it.
Littlebit does not have access to your balances, transfers, or any other sensitive data.
Furthermore, it cannot send or initiate payments from your account. It only receives information from the bank regarding card transactions after they have been settled.
The payment card and the bank account play different roles in the app, but both are essential for the savings process to function correctly. The bank account is used to calculate the auto-save amount, while the payment card executes the actual auto-save.
