Once you complete the AML questionnaire, the process continues on our side. Our systems and compliance team review the information you provided and take the necessary steps based on the outcome of the review.
Most AML forms are reviewed quickly, usually within one business day. If everything is in order, your savings will be reactivated after our confirmation. If you completed the AML form in advance through the app settings (Settings → AML), your first Bitcoin purchase will be executed automatically once you exceed your first saving milestone. If you complete the AML form only after being prompted by the app at the moment of your first savings milestone, the Bitcoin purchase will take place immediately after we approve your AML review.
In some cases (for example, if you are classified as a politically exposed person), the review period may be extended due to additional checks required by national or EU regulations. In such cases, the process may take several days, up to a maximum of one week.
In exceptional situations, savings through the Littlebit app may be restricted. This can only occur in specific cases defined by regulatory authorities. If this happens, we will inform you accordingly.
Until the AML form is completed and verified, saving is paused and no Bitcoin purchases are made. Once the verification is finished, your accumulated amounts are split into milestones, and the app gradually processes the purchases.
Your funds remain in your bank account until a Bitcoin purchase is executed. Your card is charged only at the moment the purchase is processed.
If your AML review appears to be taking longer than expected, please contact us here. Include the email address associated with your account and the approximate time you submitted the AML form. We will check the status and inform you of the next steps.
