What Should I Do If My ID Upload Fails?

Modified on Thu, 26 Feb at 1:19 PM

If you’re unable to upload your ID document, please try the following steps:

  • Make sure you are uploading a supported document. We accept ID cards, passports, and driver's licenses.

  • Check that your document is valid. Expired documents cannot be accepted by the system.

  • Confirm your date of birth. Users must be at least 18 years old for verification to be successful.

  • Check the photo quality. The document must be fully visible, clearly readable, and free of glare. Natural daylight or a well-lit room works best.

  • Use your phone's camera. Capturing the document directly through the app usually works better than uploading scans or photos from your gallery.

  • Check your internet connection. A weak signal or interrupted Wi-Fi connection may cause the upload to fail.

  • Restart the app and try again. Logging out and back in may also help.

  • Restart your device. This simple step often resolves temporary technical issues.

If you’re still unable to upload your document, please email us at support@littlebitapp.com and include the following details:

  • which document you are trying to upload
  • the exact error message shown in the app
  • the approximate time of your upload attempt
  • operating system: Android / iOS
  • operating system version
  • phone model (e.g. iPhone 12 / Samsung S2)

We’ll review the issue and help you resolve it.
