Your bank account in the Littlebit app is used exclusively to obtain information about your card transactions. We use this data to calculate the amount that will be automatically set aside and later invested in Bitcoin. Thanks to the connection to your account, the app can recognize how much and where you paid with your card and, based on your selected percentage, calculate how much of each payment should be added to your savings.
The account is connected via an interface approved under the European PSD2 regulation, which ensures a secure connection between your bank and the app.
Littlebit does not have access to your balances, transfers, or other sensitive data.
It cannot send payments or initiate transactions from your account.
It only receives information about card payments once they are posted by your bank.
You grant consent to connect your account for 90 days at a time. After this period, the app will prompt you to renew the connection. This ensures that you remain in control of the access granted to Littlebit.
Thanks to the connected account, Littlebit can function automatically, securely, and without the need for manual entry of your transactions.
If you would like to learn more about how the account connection works, how to extend it, or how to remove it, you can find detailed information in this FAQ category.
