The bank account in the Littlebit app is used exclusively to read information about your card payments. We use this data to calculate the amount to be automatically accumulated within Littlebit and subsequently transferred into your savings. Thanks to the link with your bank account, the app securely identifies your card payments and, based on your set percentage, calculates how much from each purchase to add to your savings.
The account connection takes place through a secure interface compliant with the European PSD2 regulation, which ensures the link between the bank and the app.
Littlebit never accesses your balances, transfers, or any other sensitive data.
It cannot send payments or manage your finances in any way.
It only receives information about card payments at the moment they are settled by the bank.
You grant consent for the account connection for 179 days; after that, the app will automatically prompt you to renew it. This step ensures that you keep all information Littlebit works with fully under your control.
Thanks to the connected bank account, Littlebit can automatically calculate the auto-save amounts according to your settings.
