Why Do I Have to Upload My ID Documents?

Uploading your ID documents is a mandatory part of registering for the Littlebit app. 

We work with your funds, which means we are legally required to verify the identity of our users (a process known as KYC - Know Your Customer). These obligations are imposed on us by European and Czech regulations and are designed to protect both you and the financial system. 

Document verification allows us to:

• Verify your identity to ensure that the account is created by a real person and that only its rightful owner has access to it.

• Verify your age and place of residence; the app is available only to adult users in supported countries. Your documents help us confirm that you meet these requirements. 

• Prevent misuse of the service; identity verification helps protect against fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activities.
